MAKE YOUR OWN SKIRT + JULIA BURROWS: BOOK HERE
Description: Garment blocks are used to make your own patterns to fit your body shape. This workshop will show you how to measure the body correctly, then draft your own skirt block and time allowing, make a toile (sample) and fit it during the session, or do this at home with step-by-step instructions. Suitable for all abilities.

AMERICAN SMOCKING + NICKY SIMPSON: BOOK HERE
Description: An exciting course learning and practicing constructed 3D fabric samples with the joy of using just a needle and thread to create American Smocking. Nicky will discuss sizing and different fabrics and will provide templates. This is a very meditative technique that can be used for interiors, fashion and accessories. We will practice a few designs that once you discover how easily they can be produced, they can be developed at home. Suitable for all abilities.
